GLOBAL TRUTHS is an ongoing series of "unique" photographs of the same 75 x 75 cm size. They are identified not by location or by date of their production but by number only. There are no hints within the images that allow the viewer to identify a specific narrative or even decipher the artist's intentions. Nevertheless, as suggested by the title, and through a process resembling, in some ways, that of the collector, they come to reflect, quite literally, moments and places that the artist has experienced (seen) while travelling in different parts of the world. Do they function as a sort of piecemeal visual atlas inviting spectators to project their own experiences, beliefs and projections asking how we 'read' an image without the subtitle?
